| 1. Eligibility: “Anglers for Christ” tournaments are open to all members who have paid their lifetime club dues. Lifetime club dues are $25.00 per person, with a $50.00 maximum per “household”. 2. Tournament Committee: The Tournament Committee will consist of the current elected officers. The Tournament Committee will be responsible for resolving any 3. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted at any club-sponsored event. 4. Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct and/or abusive language will result in immediate suspension from any club-sponsored activities. Please refrain from the use of any profanity at all club sponsored events. We intend for all of our tournaments and events to provide a good, clean “family atmosphere”. 5. Take Off: Take off positions will be determined by a random draw at the ramp. 6. Live-Well Check: Each boat is subjected to a live-well check prior to take off. 7. Safe Boating: Safe boating and fishing practices must be observed by all contestants at all times. During any club-sponsored function, all contestants are 8. Boat and Motor: Any boat, twelve feet or larger may be used in a club tournament. Boats must be equipped with an effective live-well system. 9. Restricted Fishing Areas: No fishing will be permitted within 50 yards of another contestants boat. The utmost respect must be given to other boats and fishermen while fishing a club-sponsored event. 10. Legal Length Limit: All fish must meet the minimum length requirements of the lake being fished to be weighed in. 11. Tackle and Equipment: Only artificial bait or lures may be used. No live bait or prepared bait is allowed, other than pork or pork-type baits. No trolling is permitted. Only one rod may be used at a time. All fish must be caught on a rod and reel. A landing net may be used. All fish must be caught and landed from the boat. The use of a stringer is not permitted. 12. Waver of Injuries: Any person who participates in any club tournament will wave and release all other contestants, hosts and club officials from all claims or injuries and/or damages incurred in connection with any “Grand Lake Anglers for Christ” sponsored event. 13. It is prohibited to give or offer fish to any other participant. It is prohibited for any contestant to accept fish not actually caught by the contestant. Any infraction of this rule will result in permanent disqualification of all contestants involved. |

14. Scoring: A maximum limit of FIVE FISH per team may be weighed in. Again, no fish measuring less than the legal minimum length limit may be weighed in at any time. Only Largemouth, Spotted, and Smallmouth Bass are permitted for weigh-in. Total stringers will determine place in tournament. Any contestant submitting a fish for weigh-in shorter than the legal length limit will be penalized one pound per short fish and the short fish will not be weighed. All dead fish submitted for weigh-in will be penalized one pound per dead fish. No frozen or mangled fish will be submitted for weigh-in. Any contestant doing so will be disqualified from the tournament and subject to disciplinary action by the Tournament Committee with possibility of suspension from the club after review. The weigh-in official will make the decision on short fish. The Golden Rule measuring board is the official measuring board of the club. All fish will be measured with a closed mouth and pinched tail. All live fish will be returned to the water, except for trophy fish to be mounted. This is at the discretion of the contestant who catches the fish. In the event of a tie, the most fished weighed will break the first tie. In the event of a second tie, the largest fish weighed will break the tie. 15. Late Penalty: All boats must check in at the designated check-in area by the official tournament end time. Boat number should be shown to the tournament official at the designated area. Any team checking in after the official tournament end time will be disqualified. 16. Protests: Any contestant wishing to protest the conduct or score of a fellow contestant, must do so within 15 minutes of the completion of weigh-in. The Tournament Committee may, if they decide, address any allegations relating to a contestant’s conduct or score. 17. Tournament Entry Fees: All tournament entry fees will be $25.00 per person. Entry fee includes Big Bass Pot. Entry fees will be accepted in cash only, and will be accepted at the ramp up to 30 minutes before take-off. 18. Payback: Payback will 100% of entry money collected. One place will be paid for every seven boats entered. If only one place is paid, the winning boat will receive 100% of the payout. The Big Bass Pot will be winner takes all. In case of a big bass tie we will use the heaviest stringer to decide the tie breaker. The team that weighs in the biggest bass will win 100% of that pot. 19. Pre-Tournament Meeting: All club members must be present 30 minutes before the scheduled take-off time for a very short pre-tournament meeting. Any team that does not attend the pre-tournament meeting will not be allowed to participate in that day’s tournament. |
